Trendy, Glitta Polish

I bought a trendy polish... Normally, I don't. Why you ask? I am stubborn, and I just refuse to buy any of the crackels, magnets, sand, (although I do like the glittery sand with a topcoat), but I bought the new Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coat collection in All Yarned Up.

I thought in my little ol' head that it can pass for glitter, it is, it really is...Glitta.

I used a creme color base by Loreal called Creme Cup (bought it at Target for half the price) and Sally Hansen I bought from CVS. Not great pictures but I must have had a total of 8 coats of polish -yikes.

Star Trek

Okay, I am sort of a geek. But for the most part, these nails were done for my husband. He luvs Star Trek, and we will be watching it, with a newborn and all.

I used the Nabi Black, Wet-n-Wild - I Red a Good Book for the red, NYC - Midtown Mimosa for the yellow (after placing a white base), and for the blue I used Sinful Colors - Endless Blue. The rest were acrylic paint. And on the thumb and pink I used OPI for Sephora - If You Got it, Haunt it for the glittery goodness.

Chalkboard Nails

I did this one for instagram (@nailodocious) for the Nail Art May Challenge (#nailartmay).

This one was for the doodling challenge.

I used a Nabi scented nail polish in Black (bought from the 99 cent store) and painted a matte topcoat, and used a white nail polish for the doodles, the other I placed the Hard Candy topcoat in Black Tie Optional.

Cherry Blossoms

There are so many different versions of cherry blossoms that are beautiful, here is mine...

I used Sally Hansen (SH) - Breezy Blue as the light blue base, placed a glitter over it, one of those no named, silver holographic glitter Cosmetic Art from Ross, used some acrylic black paint for the branches and dotted some "blossoms" and added green leaves.

Loves Me Not

What a pretty color! I bought this polish at Target for 94 cents! I always try to find deals, especially for nail polish.

For this mani, I used Sally Hansen's Loves Me Not, a really dark iridescent purple, and for the accent nails I used a gold glitter, Color Club. I don't know the name b/c it does not have a name. Why? For some odd reason if you buy nail polish from Ross, especially the Color Club packs, there are no names on them, What is up with that? But they are still good deals. Sorry for the blurriness, still trying to work my camera.

White and Gold Glitter Gradient

I tried a glitter gradient with the striper polishes, don't know if I like it, I might have to retry it.

I used Wet n Wild French Creme (totally hard to make even - maybe I need to thin mine), Sally Hansen Golden - I, and Stripe Rite in Gold Glitter (didn't have a name). The gold and glitter doesn't match, oh well, what was I thinking, lol.
